MobileSight announces full remote system administration.

The MobileSight Server Administrator now has the capability to implement all changes to the MobileSight system from any remote access device. These changes can be put into effect immediately. As a result, a problem user can be removed from accessing the MobileSight system within seconds from any remote location.

MobileSight announces customer availability of MobileSight on Mobile 5.0 SmartPhones.

MobileSight is now available for implementation on SmartPhones using the Windows Mobile 5.0 operating system. The MobileSight Mobile5 version provides all the functions and features of MobileSight including camera controls, snapshot functions and unlimited camera selection features.

MobileSight announces DTMF Camera control implementation.

MobileSight announces support for cameras controlled by DTMF commands. DTMF controlled cameras use telephone tones to perform a variety of functions including pan, tilt and zoom. Telephone tones are now generated in the MobileSight system. The telephone tones are sent to the cameras to perform a variety of functions including pan, tilt, zoom, focus and iris control.

MobileSight implements Kalatel CyberDome Camera programming capability.

The MobileSight system can now access the programming panels in CyberDome cameras. CyberDome cameras are one of the most popular camera systems installed in the world today. The CyberDome programming functions can now be accessed and set, remotely, using the MobileSight system. A local CyberDome joystick/control box is no longer required.

MobileSight Tablet Implementation.

The MobileSight System has been enhanced to operate efficiently on Tablet PC computers. Tablet PC devices can be used to perform all the functions of MobileSight over their Wi-Fi or Cell Phone wireless connections. Tablets can be configured to operate as video servers, display panels or both.

MobileSight implements fixed frame databases.

The MobileSight video database can now be archived with either variable or fixed frame sizes. The variable frame size feature will provide optimal use of the disk space. The use of fixed frame sizes will provide faster performance for both video archiving and video retrieval.

MobileSight implements multiple hard drive database functions.

The transaction logs and database files of relational database systems are usually placed in the same logical drive. With this new MobileSight enhancement, the transaction log and the database files can now be placed on different logical and physical hard drives. Separating these functions allows for more efficient database operations producing improved read/write operations.

MobileSight implements auto-restart display clients.

During a power failure workstations will often shut down completely with complete loss of live video. The new MobileSight Display Clients can now restart automatically when power is restored without any intervention by security personnel.

MobileSight implements support for high definition IP cameras.

The latest cameras are capable of producing images at resolutions of 1280 x 1024 or more. These images can be displayed, archived and exported in the MobileSight system. High resolution is now available for uses which require high detail images such as law enforcement and object recognition.

MobileSight now supports Hierarchical databases.

Separate video databases can communicate between store sites, regional locations and headquarters locations. Each database can be automatically updated and can maintain video with different user selected parameters. The store can archive video at 20 fps for 2 days. The regional location can maintain video for a month at 4 fps. The headquarters MobileSight database can archive video for three years at .2 fps for only video with specific motion or other parameter characteristics.
