MobileSight announces the implementation of the MobileSight Pocket PC video application on handheld Pocket PCs for use with both WiFi networks and now 1X and 3G cell phone networks.

The MobileSight Pocket PC application is available on both WiFi and the cell phone networks. Customers are now able to use MobileSight on Pocket PCs using an internal WiFi card for WiFi connections and a second external 1X or 3G card for cell network connection. As a result, users can access the live video and full camera controls almost anywhere using cell phone 1X or 3G network cards. And, when these users are in WiFi “hot-spots”, they can switch over to the WiFi network card and view the video at true “live” frame rates.

MobileSight announces the implementation of the industry standard “most easy-to-use” format to create highly secure video files. MobileSight users can now create AVI files with an embedded “hologram/watermark” component.

“Video of immediate interest” can now be extracted from the MobileSight database as an “encrypted” AVI file. These files, even with this embedded encryption, can be emailed and played on any PC using the Windows Media Player. The embedded encryption will not alter the video as the AVI file is played. The embedded “hologram/watermark” will enable certified experts to determine if the video has been tampered or altered from original. Embedded “hologram/watermark” in an exported AVI file is another exclusive first for MobileSight.
